As part of the second year M.Arch. ‘Culture & Metropolis’ studio, we were challenged to design the future Faculty of Architecture building at 1 Spadina Circle, Toronto. The site and existing building are in a unique location: at the center of Spadina Avenue with traffic splitting to pass by on either side.

The following proposal presents the possibility of connecting the site and Spadina Avenue to not just the city, but the world. Entire towers facing Spadina Avenue will be covered in translucent urban screen technology. Through a curatorial open call process, the screens will be programmed to present varying content from around the world.
